How quickly can I receive funds?
Aven says Home Equity Cash can reach your personal bank account as soon as three business days after account opening. Application review, verification and closing happen before that point. Your funding date depends on completing the required steps; three days is not a guarantee from the moment you apply. Read Aven’s funding guidance.
What is a HELOC?
A home equity line of credit is borrowing secured by your home. The lender determines your credit limit, access to funds, fees and repayment terms. Because your home is collateral, missed payments can put your home at risk.
Do I need to refinance my first mortgage?
A HELOC is generally a separate loan, so it can allow you to retain your first mortgage. Existing liens and the lender’s requirements affect eligibility and how the new line is structured.
Who can apply through HomeEqual?
This application is for Florida properties. Aven evaluates income, home equity, credit and debt. Applicants must be at least 18 and have valid government-issued identification. Your property and application must meet the lender’s requirements. See Aven’s eligibility guidance.
Will this affect my credit?
The initial application here asks for your authorization for a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. Merely opening this page authorizes nothing. A hard inquiry may be required later to proceed with an offer; review the lender’s separate authorization before agreeing. Aven’s soft and hard inquiry guidance.
Does Aven require a home appraisal?
Aven normally estimates your home’s value digitally using automated valuation models, so there is usually no appraisal appointment to arrange. Sometimes an exterior “drive-by” appraisal is needed. You do not need to be home or let anyone inside. Read Aven’s appraisal guidance.
Can I close online?
Aven offers online notary appointments in most states. Join from a device with a camera, microphone and internet connection. Aven sends scheduling and joining links by text and email; multiple signers can schedule separately. Some states require an in-person appointment. See how Aven’s virtual signing works.
How is the cash repaid?
Aven describes its Home Equity Cash upfront cash-out as a fixed-rate installment plan with predictable monthly payments and no prepayment penalties. Review the payment amount, term and full agreement for your offer before accepting. See how Aven’s upfront cash-out works.
What rates and fees should I expect?
Your APR and fees depend on the offer Aven approves for you. Compare the APR, cash you receive, total balance including any financed fees, monthly payment and repayment term. Available offer details appear here after review; the lender’s final disclosures show the complete costs before you accept.
Can I finish here or return later?
Answer the application questions and review available offers on this page. After submission, your inquiry is connected to your verified HomeEqual account. Unsaved answers remain only on this page, so finish submitting before leaving. Any additional verification or closing follows Aven’s instructions. Existing borrower-portal applicants can resume their inquiry in the portal.
Who receives my application information?
After you authorize submission, HomeEqual securely records your application and sends the required information to Aven through its API. Review the application authorizations and privacy policies before submitting. HomeEqual is a mortgage broker, not the lender.
YOUR HOME HAS A NEXT CHAPTER.
Let’s make room for it.
Before you borrow
HomeEqual Mortgage, LLC · NMLS #2813429 is a mortgage broker, not a lender. This page introduces a HELOC application offered through Aven. Credit approval, property eligibility, available amounts, rates, fees and funding are determined by the lender. No offer or commitment to lend is made by this page.
A HELOC is secured by your home. Failure to repay may result in the loss of your home. Consolidating unsecured debt into a HELOC makes that debt secured by your home and may increase total borrowing costs if repaid over a longer period. Consider the full cost and your ability to repay.
